About
University Civic Engagement Club (UCEC) is a sustainability-centralized initiative that instils the campus sustainability concept. This one-year project strives to empower youth-led movements by providing fundamental knowledge and skill-sets through a pledge campaign, seed funds, tailored workshops and interactive experiences.
In partnership Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), the primary component of UCEC is the Pledge campaign. Pledges can be an important component that allows youth to turn creative ideas into concrete, measurable and action-oriented voluntary commitments on specific issues observed around them. The key deliverables of the pledge campaign are to help mobilize and empower youth in environmental actions towards achieving the sustainable campus goal.

Important dates to take note of for UCEC Pledge Campaign in 2021:

Eligibilities
The minimum requirements for pledge submissions are:
- Open to all students that are currently enrolled in either Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) or International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
- Have to register an account on UCEC official website.
- Strong commitment to the values and principles of volunteerism
